Welcome to my blog!

As a seeker of healing my mind, body and spirit, I decided to go on a journey of trying various spiritual practices and prayer types of the Saints.  The Saints have always interested me.  I also think, if I want what they had, then I learn by doing what they did.  OK, I can only take that to a point, after all, I'm married and not ready to become a nun.

My first saint will be St. Ignatius.  I choose him because many years ago, I took a class at the church on Prayer and Temperament and I was an ISFJ which, according to the book of the same name, said I would be more likely to enjoy the prayer style of St. Ignatius.  I did try it for a while, but got caught up in raising my kids and other aspects of life.  So, here I am, about 20 years later, trying it again for a month.  Each day I plan to write something new about the Saint that I'm studying and what I experienced with his or her style of practice.

I do plan on talking about my journey of raw food living and how that is part of my search for healing mind, body, and spirit.  But this is all I'll post for now.  More later.
